This
garter snake has often been shown in books and on various fora. These
striking colored animals are the absolut nicest speciems, but most animals
are more faded in their colors. They are kept like other garters, but
on the warm side and a hibernation isn`t necessary for breeding. A dark
and cooler period (15-18*C) is recommended for successful breeding.
